Holden Driver Falls Asleep, Crashes Volvo
A Holden man was injured in a one-vehicle accident that occurred Wednesday night in Lafayette County.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports that 44-year-old Alan J. Sanderson of Holden, was the driver of a northbound 2004 VolvoV70 on Missouri 131 at Mount Tabor Road around 10:10 p.m., when the driver fell asleep and the car traveled off the east side of the roadway, struck a culvert and overturned.
Sanderson suffered moderate injuries, and was transported to Centerpoint Hospital by Odesa EMS.
