
Hughesville Man Injured in Pettis County Rollover
A Hughesville man was injured in a one-vehicle accident that occurred early Sunday morning in Pettis County.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports that a northbound 2011 Honda Accord, driven by a 43-year-old man from Hughesville, was on Highway 65 near John Road just after midnight, when the Honda left the roadway and overturned.
The driver suffered moderate injuries and was transported to Bothwell Regional Health Center by PCAD. The Honda was totaled and towed by InMotion. Pettis County Deputies assisted the Troopers on scene.
The Patrol later arrested 43-year-old Alex Kyvyrzhik of Hughesville at 12:27 a.m. He now faces a charge of driving while intoxicated.
