A Kansas City woman was killed in a one-vehicle accident that occurred Sunday night in Cole County.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports that an eastbound 2007 Chevy Impala, driven by 56-year-old Kelly M. Sullivan of KCMO, was on US 50, west of Lisletown Road at 6:45 p.m, when the vehicle traveled off the left side of the roadway. The driver then overcorrected and traveled off the right side, striking a rock bluff before overturning and ejecting the driver.

Sulivan, who was not wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash, was pronounced dead at the scene by Cole County Coroner Dr. Carl Doerhoff at 8:15 p.m.

The Chevy was totaled.
