While the competition on the field was fierce, something off of the field was more exciting than winning a game off of a penalty kick shootout. The annual Kickin' It For A Cure soccer game was held at the Susie Ditzfeld Soccer Field Thursday night (April 25). The Smith-Cotton Lady Tigers played host to the Clinton Lady Cardinals. The Lady Tigers were sporting pink home jerseys in honor of the Breast Cancer Awareness Event.

The annual game is played to raise awareness for breast cancer. The fans came out to support the Lady Tigers while pledging donations to the Breast Cancer Fund. The highlight of the night was the silent auction, with all of the money from the silent auction going to the Breast Cancer Fund. Fans were able to bid on Kickin' It For A Cure shirts, hats and soccer balls. Local businesses also donated some big items like custom signs, tool boxes and car accessories.

When we are raising money for Breast Cancer, we are all winners!
