A Knob Noster man was injured in a one vehicle wreck that occurred Wednesday afternoon in Johnson County.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports that a northbound 2001 Pontiac Sunfire driven by 62-year-old Bobby L. Yarbrough of Knob Noster was on Missouri 23 at NE 950 at 2:15 p.m., when the vehicle traveled off the right side of the roadway and struck an embankment. The Pontiac then returned to the roadway, traveled off the left side of the roadway, overturned and came to rest on its side.

Yarbrough suffered serious injuries, and was transported by JCAD to CenterPointe Hospital for treatment.

The Sunfire was totaled and towed from the scene.
