A Knob Noster woman was injured in a one-vehicle crash that occurred Monday evening in Johnson County.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports that a northbound 2019 Dodge Ram 1500, driven by 41-year-old Bethany Welch of Knob Noster was on Route MM, north of NE County Road 175 around 7:20 p.m., when the truck traveled off the right side of the roadway, struck a culvert and became airborne. The Dodge then overturned and the driver was ejected. She was not wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash, according to the report.

Welch suffered serious injuries and was flown by Life Flight to Research Medical Center for treatment.

The Dodge Ram was totaled and towed by Tip Top Towing.

Knob Noster Police assisted the Patrol at the scene.
