On Wednesday morning, May 17, Sedalia Police conducted a traffic stop in the 2400 block of South Limit Avenue because the vehicle had expired registration.

The passenger of the vehicle was found to have several warrants for his arrest, two of which were extraditable.

Jacob E. Jordan, 31, of Lincoln, was placed under arrest for his Failure to Appear warrant from Clay County on original charges of Driving While Revoked, and a Platte County Failure to Appear warrant on original charges of felony Possession of a Controlled Substance.

Jordan was transported to the Pettis County Jail to be booked in pending a $200 cash or surety bond on the Clay County warrant, and a $5,000 cash or surety bond on the Platte County warrant.
