Lincoln Man Injured After Car Strikes Rock Bluff

A Lincoln man was injured in a one-vehicle accident that occurred Wednesday night in Benton County.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports that a southbound 2007 Ford, driven by 40-year-old Patrick L. Gordon of Lincoln, was on US 65 at Missouri 83 at 8:55 p.m., when the vehicle traveled off the roadway and struck a rock bluff.

Gordon suffered moderate injuries, and was transported by EMS to Bothwell Regional Health Center for treatment.

The Ford had extensive damage and was towed from the scene.
