Lincoln Man Injured When Jeep Hits Tree

A Lincoln man was injured in a one-vehicle accident that occurred Monday in Benton County.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports that a southbound 2015 Jeep Cherokee, driven by David C. Howe of Lincoln, was on Ridge Lane, north of Washed Out Road (northwest of Lakeview Heights) at 6 p.m., when the Jeep traveled off the left side of the roadway and struck a tree.

Howe suffered minor injuries and was transported by private vehicle to Golden Valley Memorial Hospital for treatment.

The Jeep Cherokee was totaled.
