Lincoln Man on Motorcycle Strikes Deer

A Lincoln man was injured in a motorcycle accident that occurred Monday night in Benton County.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports that 31-year-old Sebastian T. Madson of Lincoln was the driver of an eastbound 2005 Kawasaki ZX10R Ninja motorcycle on Route C, west of Wischmeier Avenue in Lincoln, around 10:30 p.m., when he struck a deer in the roadway,

Madson suffered serious injuries and was transported to Bothwell Regional Health Center by Warsaw-Lincoln Ambulance.

The Kawasaki was totaled.
