Lone Jack Man Injured When Car Slides Into Tree
A Lone Jack man was injured in a weather-related accident that happened Tuesday morning in Jackson County.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports that 68-year-old Darrell J. Look of Lone Jack was the driver of a northbound 2008 Ford Edge on Route F, north of Faulkenberry Road (northeast of Lone Jack) around 6:15 a.m., when the Patrol says that Faulkenberry was driving too fast for the conditions and the Ford slid on the ice and traveled off the south side of the roadway and struck a tree.

Look suffered moderate injuries and was transported to Centerpoint Hospital by Lone Jack EMS.
The Ford was totaled and towed from the scene.
