On Sunday, Pettis County deputies, the Mid-Mo Drug Task Force and Sedalia Police arrested Virgil Taylor in the 200 block of West Broadway on a Johnson County warrant at 12:38 a.m.

While arranging for a tow for Taylor's vehicle, Pettis County deputies located a large amount of crystal meth, digital scales and new empty baggies. Taylor was placed on a 24-hour hold, pending the filing of formal charges from the Pettis County Prosecutor's Office, which filed for a charge of 2nd degree Drug Trafficking with a $25,000 bond.
