Marshall Man Injured in Clay County Crash

A Marshall man was injured in a one-vehicle accident that occurred Wednesday afternoon in Clay County.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports that a northbound 2015 Chevrolet, driven by 68-year-old Stephen J. Olson of Marshall, was on I-435 at 96th Street around 2 p.m., when he reportedly suffered a medical incident. The Chevy ran off the right side of the roadway and struck a tree.

The Chevy had extensive damage and was towed from the scene.

Olson suffered minor injuries and was treated at an area hospital.
