
Maryland Resident Injured in Pettis County Accident
A Maryland man was injured in a two-vehicle accident that occurred Friday morning in Pettis County.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports that a northbound 2019 Hyundai Sonata, driven by 19-year-old Isaiah A. Hopkins of Baltimore Maryland, was at Route H and Walnut Grove Road around 7:45 a.m., when Hopkins failed to yield and 32-year-old Nicole L. Berg, of Sedalia, the driver of a southbound 2010 Toyota Prius, swerved to avoid a collision. However, both vehicles collided and came to rest off the roadway.
Injured was a passenger in the Sonata. 19-year-old Andrea D. Carroll of Baltimore Maryland, suffered minor injuries and was transported to Bothwell Regional Health Center by private vehicle.

The Prius had minor damage, and was driven from the scene, while the Sonata had moderate damage and was towed by Don's Truck Towing.
Pettis County Deputies assisted the Patrol.
