Pettis County accident injures a Houstonia woman

At 7:15am  Wednesday morning the Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a one-vehicle accident on Route “H” just East of Cherry Tree Lane in Pettis County. The accident reportedly occurred as the 2001 Chevrolet Blazer driven by 46-year-old Lisa Bass of Houstonia, ran off the roadway, struck a tree and a culvert before coming to rest in a creek. Bass was wearing her seatbelt and suffered minor injuries in the crash. She was transported to Bothwell Hospital by Pettis County EMS for treatment.

Two-vehicle accident reported in Henry County Tuesday afternoon

Around 2:30pm Tuesday afternoon a two-vehicle accident on Route “W” in Henry County sent a 31-year-old woman to the Hospital with injuries. According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol accident report the accident happened as the 2005 Chevrolet Cavalier driven by 31-year-old Courtney Raines of Clinton crossed the centerline and struck a boat trailer, that was being towed by a 2002 Chevrolet ¾ ton truck, driven by 62-year-old Jerry Schwach of Clinton. Raines was taken to Golden Valley Hospital for treatment of what were described as minor injuries.
