Missouri State Highway Patrol Accident Reports For July 17, 2014

Two vehicle accident reported in Johnson County Tuesday

At 3pm Tuesday afternoon the Missouri state Highway Patrol reported a two-vehicle accident on Missouri Highway 58 six-tenths of a mile South of County Road Southwest 200 in Johnson County.
According to the accident report the accident occurred as the 1998 Buick Century driven by 61-year-old Sharon Lankford of Chilhowee crossed the centerline, and struck the 1988 International driven by 63-year-old David Council of Holden. Lankford suffered moderate injuries, and was taken to Lee’s Summit Medical center for treatment.

61-year-old Athens Alabama man injured in a Saline County accident Tuesday

Around 10:44am Tuesday morning Missouri State Highway Patrol Troopers along with the Sweet Springs Police Department investigated a one vehicle accident, that occurred on eastbound I-70 at mile marker 72.4. The accident happened as the 2007 Honda driven by 61-year-old Charles Crosby of Athens Alabama travelled off the roadway, and struck 18 median posts before coming to rest. Crosby received minor injuries and was transported to the I-70 Medical Center by EMS.
