Missouri State Highway Patrol Accident Reports For Monday April 20, 2015

4-Sedalia teens injured in a rollover accident Saturday morning

At 5am Saturday morning the Missouri state Highway Patrol, and the Pettis County Sheriff’s Department reported a one-vehicle rollover accident that occurred on Ream Spring Road South of Missouri Route “N” in Pettis County. The accident reportedly happened when the driver of a 2002 Pontiac 16-year-old Jozlan N Holloway of Sedalia failed to negotiate a curve, travelled off the roadway, struck a ditch and overturned. A passenger in the vehicle, 14-year-old Carollyn Lange of Sedalia suffered moderate injuries in the crash, while Holloway, and the other two passengers, 14-year-old James Pickens, and 15-year-old Tommy E Darnell all of Sedalia received minor injuries. The accident report states all four of the teens were transported to Bothwell Regional Health Center by Pettis County Ambulance for treatment. The accident report states all of the occupants were wearing seatbelts at the time of the accident.

Saline County accident seriously injures a 43-year-old Booneville woman Saturday

Just after 1pm Saturday afternoon the Missouri State Highway patrol reported a one-vehicle accident on eastbound I-70 at mile marker 77. The accident reportedly happened when the driver of a 2004 Dodge, 41-year-old Robert J McCabe of Booneville fell asleep at the wheel and drifted off the roadway, and struck a guardrail. The driver received minor injuries, and refused treatment at the scene. A passenger 43-year-old Denise M McCabe suffered serious injuries, and was transported by ambulance to University Hospital in Columbia for treatment.

Rear end accident injures a 34-year-old Warsaw man in Henry County

Around 9:45 Sunday morning a 34-year-old Warsaw man received moderate injuries in a rear end collision on Missouri Highway “7” West of Northeast 201 Road in Henry County. According to the Missouri State Highway patrol accident report the accident occurred as the 2003 Pontiac Grand Am driven by 65-year-old Samuel L. French of Clinton was stopped waiting to  turn. The report states a 2009 Suzuki GT-250 driven by 34-year-old Jesse S. Devalle of Warsaw failed to yield, overtook, and struck the rear of the French vehicle. Devalle suffered moderate injuries in the crash, and was taken to Golden Valley Hospital by EMS for treatment.
