Marshall Man injured in a Saline County accident Sunday morning

At 9:27am Sunday morning the Missouri State Highway patrol reports a one-vehicle accident on Brunswick Road just South of 367 Trail in Saline County. The accident occurred as the 2003 Kenworth driven by 70-year-old Darrell McCumber of Marshall was behind another vehicle. The accident report states McCumber’s vision was obstructed by dust from the gravel road, that was kicked up by the other vehicle causing the truck to travel off the roadway, and overturn, coming to rest on the passenger’s side. McCumber suffered moderate injuries, and was taken to Fitzgibbons Hospital by Slater EMS for treatment.

Benton County accident injures an Edwards woman Monday afternoon

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol accident report 40-year-old Kenna V. Stout of Edwards lost control of her 2012 Toyota on Route “MM” at the Highway Cutoff Road in Benton County at 2:15pm Monday afternoon. The accident report states Stout failed to negotiate a curve, travelled off the roadway, and struck an embankment. She received moderate injuries in the crash, and was transported to Bothwell Hospital by Warsaw/Lincoln Ambulance District for treatment.

Two vehicle accident in Johnson County injures a Nelson woman

Around 7:45pm Sunday night the Missouri State Highway Patrol investigated a two-vehicle accident, that occurred on Missouri Highway 13 at County Road Northwest 575 Road in Johnson County. The accident reportedly happened as a 2002 Pontiac Sunfire driven by 29-year-old Jessica A. Craig of Warrensburg was slowing to make a left turn, and was struck in the rear by a 2007 Hyundai Entourage driven by 32-year-old Denver L. Dietz of Nelson. A passenger in the Dietz vehicle suffered the only injuries in the crash, and was transported to Western Missouri Medical Center by EMS for treatment of minor injuries.

Rear end collision in Lafayette County injures a Kansas City

At 5:43am Sunday morning The Missouri State Highway patrol along with the Lafayette County Sheriff’s Office reported a two-vehicle accident that occurred on Westbound I-70 at Mile Marker 34. The accident reportedly occurred as both vehicles were westbound on I-70. The accident report states the 2015 Chrysler 200 driven by 22-year-old Ryan K. Byrd of Odessa, overtook and struck the 2008 Honda Accord driven by 38-year-old Armondo S. Stigger of Kansas City Missouri in the rear driver’s side. Stigger suffered minor injuries, and was taken to Centerpoint Medical Center by Odessa EMS for treatment.

Henry County accident causes minor injuries to a Springfield man

Just after midnight this (Tuesday) morning the Missouri State Highway Patrol assisted by the Henry County sheriff’s Office investigated a rollover accident on Highway “7” South of John Deere Road in Henry County. The accident occurred as 21-year-old Hannah C. Straub of Springfield lost control of the 2008 Honda she was driving, ran off the roadway, and overturned. A passenger 49-year-old David E. Staub also of Springfield received minor injuries, but refused treatment at the scene.
