Thieves are busy in the Sedalia Area

Around 4:15 Sunday afternoon (Dec. 7), Sedalia Police were dispatched to a residence in the 1700 block of South Marvin on a reported burglary. Upon arrival the victim told the officers sometime overnight someone entered his residence, and stole two-television sets, a blue ray player, and a box of jewelry. The items were valued collectively at approximately $500 according to the victim.

At 5:11 Monday evening (Dec. 8), Sedalia Police took a theft report from a male victim in the 1700 block of South Ohio. According to the victim someone stole his fishing pols from his car.

Just after 6 Monday morning (Dec. 8), a woman in the 1800 block of South Sneed reported her Garmin GPS was stolen from her vehicle on Friday.

A male victim in the 600 block of South grand reported thieves had stolen tools from his shed.

At 10:30 Monday morning (Dec. 8), a victim in the 300 block of East Saline reported someone had pried his garage door open sometime overnight. There was no information on anything missing, and there was no estimate on damage to the garage door.
