Sedalia Police investigated a two-vehicle accident that occurred at 4:46 p.m. Saturday.

Police reports indicate the patient was a motorcycle rider involved in a crash at North Stewart and West Morgan, in which the southbound motorcycle collided with a westbound passenger vehicle and the rider was ejected into the windshield of the car.

The rider came to rest southwest of the uncontrolled intersection.

The rider suffered serious injuries and was transported to a landing zone by PCAD, then flown to the University of Missouri Hospital. The crash is under investigation by Sedalia Police.

No names were released.
