
MSHP With SPD Arrest Columbia Man on Warrants & Drug Charges, Two Sedalians on Hindering Prosecution
On Monday, Sedalia Police conducted a traffic stop with MSHP Troopers, as well as detectives with the Crime Resolution Unit, in which a wanted subject with multiple warrants was arrested.
46-year-old Nathan S. McDonald of Columbia was arrested by the Patrol at 11:08 a.m. He was wanted on two Johnson County warrants on original charges of unlawful possession of a weapon ($25,000 cash-only bond), and felony delivery of a controlled substance ($25,000). He also was wanted for felony resisting arrest (Pettis County, $5,000 bond). McDonald was also found to be in possession of meth and drug paraphernalia.

Later in the day, Sedalia Police arrested two individuals, after it was discovered they were knowing concealing McDonald from apprehension. 42-year-old Richard Allen Kurtz (driver) of Sedalia was arrested during the stop near Broadway and Curry. 36-year-old Carlenna Deloris Lange, of the same address in Sedalia, was arrested after 1 p.m. Both were charged with hindering prosecution, a felony.
