Everyone, I know it's been super cold out there lately.

And if you're like me, that means things are probably getting more expensive. And with rising heat bills, that means that other things might get compromised.

I mean, hard decisions have to get made. Where do those cuts have to come? Well. I can help at least a LITTLE bit. I know it's not a lot, but if you or one of your relatives hasn't heard of this program, it might be just the thing you need.

The Evergy Economic Relief Pilot Program (ERPP) is still open and accepting applications! This is an income based program for Evergy customers with no past due balance. Those approved will receive up to a $65 credit on their Evergy bill each month for 12 months! This helps a lot of households especially those on fixed incomes. We are accepting applications Mon-Thurs 9:00A-3:00P (lunch break on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 12:00P-12:45P). This program requires a photo ID for the bill holder, paper copy of your most recent bill, and paper copy of income for the household. Message or call us with any questions 660-826-1525. This is open to any and all Evergy customers who meet the guidelines (not limited to Pettis County residents only). #DoingTheMostGood

And as you can see from the hashtag, that is coming from our very own local Salvation Army Office!  So why not call or stop by the Salvation Army office and see if you qualify?  I mean, yeah, $65 might not seem like a ton to some of you guys, but... that's a lot of money to others.  And, the SA is very helpful in getting people the help they need to fill in the blanks and make ends meet.  Check it out!

Qualifyingly yours,

Behka
