An Odessa man was injured in a two-vehicle accident that occurred Tuesday in Johnson County.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, a northbound 1998 Ford Explorer driven by 34-year-old Joseph L. Specker of Odessa was traveling on M 131, when the vehicle crossed the center line, striking a southbound 1995 Toyota, driven by 22-year-old Pointsetta T. Bunyar of Oak Grove at 6:40 p.m. Tuesday evening.

Specker suffered serious injuries and was transported to Centerpoint Hospital by JCAD.

Both drivers were wearing their seat belt at the time of the crash.

Both vehicles were totaled.
