One Arrested After Crashing Car at Pettis County Sheriff’s Office

On Feb. 20, Sedalia Police responded to a disturbance in the parking lot of the PC Sheriff's Office at 4th and Lamine.

According to a police report, a confrontation occurred off site where one subject crashed his car into another's on purpose. The two then chased each other to the Sheriff's Office, where the subject once again crashed his car into the victim's.

Arrested was 43-year-old Benton W. Pickett of Sedalia. He was charged with destruction of property. He was issued a Municipal summons with a court date of April 18.
