One Sedalian Arrested for First Degree Drug Trafficking
On Thursday, May 23, Detectives with the Sedalia Police Department's Crime Resolution Unit and Mid-Missouri Drug Task Force served a search warrant that was a result of a months-long joint investigation into drug trafficking in Sedalia.
The search warrant was issued for 1410 South Missouri Avenue, which is roughly 200 feet from Vermont Park.
Detectives searched the residence and located a large quantity of methamphetamine and evidence to support it was being distributed from the residence.
At the conclusion of the search warrant, one subject was arrested.
Krisna Chumpraphai, 46, was arrested and charged with first-degree Drug Trafficking, Distribution of a Controlled Substance in a Protected Location, Possession of a Controlled Substance and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
