Peterbilt Overturns at Roundabout in JoCo

A Chilhowee man was injured Thursday afternoon when the truck he was driving overturned in Johnson County.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports that a northbound 2006 Peterbilt driven by 24-year-old John E. Dameron of Chilhowee was on Missouri 13 at a roundabout, south of US 50 at 1:45 p.m., when the tractor trailer traveled onto the concrete island and overturned.

Dameron suffered minor injuries, and refused medical treatment at the scene. He was not wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash.

The Peterbilt was totaled.
