Pleasant Hill Man Killed in Cass County Crash
A Pleasant Hill man was killed in a one-vehicle accident that occurred Thursday night in Cass County.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports that a westbound 2008 Lincoln MKZ, driven by 44-year-old Calvin D. Crawford of Pleasant Hill, was on Missouri 58 at 183rd Street (west of Pleasant Hill) around 9:30 p.m., when the vehicle traveled off the left side of the roadway, overturned and struck a tree.
Crawford was pronounced dead at the scene at 9:46 p.m., by Paramedic Amy Dorn. The body was transported by First Call to Forensic Medical of Kansas.

The Lincoln was totaled.
Cass County Deputies, as well as Pleasant Hill EMS and Fire assisted the Patrol.
