Recently Resolved Cases from Pettis County Circuit Court

Here is a sampling of cases that were resolved in Pettis County Circuit Court from July  to August 20, 2019, courtesy of Pettis County Prosecutor Phillip T. Sawyer.

David B. Wilson:  age 48, Sedalia, MO was sentenced to seven 10, 7 and 4 year sentences in the Missouri Department of Corrections on nine separate matters (6 counts of Child Molestation in the First Degree, 1 count Child Molestation in the Second Degree, 1 count Child Molestation in the Fourth Degree and 1 count Statutory Sodomy).

James Dingus Fague:  age 31, Sedalia, MO was sentenced to five 3 year sentences in the Missouri Department of Corrections on five separate matters (3 counts of stealing, 1 count Receiving Stolen Property and 1 count Possession of Controlled Substance-Methamphetamine. In addition, Mr.Fague’s probation was revoked and the balance of a 4 year sentence was imposed.

Mary E. Brockman:  age 48, Sedalia, MO was sentenced to 3 years in the Missouri Department of Corrections for Resisting Arrest.  In addition, Ms. Brockman’s probation was revoked, balance of 3 year sentence was imposed.

Eric Harper:  age 27, Sedalia, MO was sentenced to 13 years in the Missouri Department of Corrections for Burglary.

Trenton Leary:  age 18, Sedalia, MO was sentenced to two 4 year sentences in the Missouri Department of Corrections on two separate matters (1 count Assault in the Second Degree and 1 count Unlawful Use of a Weapon).

Ashley M. Milano:  age 30, Dallastown, PA was sentenced to 4 years in the Missouri Department of Corrections for Resisting Arrest.

Trina L. Harvey:  age 37, Sedalia, MO was sentenced to 5 years in the Missouri Department of Corrections after her probation was revoked.

Travis Ballew:  age 39, Sedalia, MO was sentenced to two consecutive 2 year sentences in the Missouri Department of Corrections on two counts of Domestic Assault.

Kenneth Magee:  age 40,  Sedalia,  MO was sentenced to consecutive 10, 10 and 7 year sentences in the Missouri Department of Corrections on three separate matters (2 counts Delivery of a Controlled Substance-Heroin and 1 count Possession of a Controlled Substance Oxycodone).

Cynthia Ann Obrien-Gibler:  age 49, Sedalia, MO was sentenced to two 10 year sentences in the Missouri Department of Corrections on two counts of Delivery of a Controlled Substance-Methamphetamine.

Timothy R. Barrett:  age 31, Sedalia, MO was sentenced to 5 years in the Missouri Department of Corrections for Possession of a Controlled Substance-Methamphetamine.

Gary L. Barnett, Jr.:  age 44, Sedalia, MO was sentenced to 4 years in the Missouri Department of Corrections for Possession of a Controlled Substance Methamphetamine.

Angie Marie Steeves:  age 38, Sedalia, MO was sentenced to 5 years in the Missouri Department of Corrections after her probation was revoked.

Benjamin F. Hinsberger:  age 32, Sedalia, MO was sentenced to 4 years in the Missouri Department of Corrections for Domestic Assault.

Justin D. Warren:  age 30, Kansas City, MO was sentenced to 2 years in the Missouri Department of Corrections for Stealing.

Austin Michael Dotson:  age 23, Sedalia, MO was sentenced to 15, 15, 15 15, 4, 4, 4 and 4 year sentences in the Missouri Department of Corrections on eight separate matters (2 counts Trafficking Drugs, 2 counts Stealing, 1 count Armed Criminal Action, 1 count Unlawful Use of a Weapon, 1 count Resisting Arrest, 1 count Unlawful Possession of a Firearm).

Kathleen Kraft:  age 30, Sedalia, MO was sentenced to two 2 year sentences in the Missouri Department of Corrections on two counts of Tampering with a Motor Vehicle.

Bruce A. Gullett:  age 33, Sedalia, MO was sentenced to 2 years in the Missouri Department of Corrections for Possession of a Controlled Substance-Methamphetamine.

Shania Irene Claxton:  age 23, Sedalia, MO was sentenced to 2 years in the Missouri Department of Corrections after her probation was revoked.
