Reported Disturbance Leads to Drug Arrest for Sedalia Man
Early Friday morning, Sedalia Police arrested one man for drug offences, after officers responded to a reported disturbance in the 1100 of W. 7th Street.
Upon arrival, police made contact with two subjects. A computer check revealed that a man at the residence, 49-year old Darren L. Marconette, had a Pettis County warrant for dangerous drugs. The warrant carried a bond of $25,000.
Marconette was arrested and taken to Bothwell Regional Health Center, where he was cleared for confinement. Authorities then took Marconette to the Pettis County Jail, where a search reportedly revealed a small baggie of methamphetamine on his person.
Marconette was placed on a 24-hour hold, pending state charges for Possession of Methamphetamine and Introduction of Contraband to a County Jail.
