Rolla Woman Killed After Car Strikes Tree

A Rolla woman was killed late Monday night in a one-vehicle wreck that occurred in Osage County.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports that a southbound 2018 Chrysler 300 driven by 29-year-old Bethany C. Heck of Rolla was on US 63, south of County Road 637 at 11:05 p.m., when the vehicle traveled across the center line, off the left side of the roadway and struck a tree. She was wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash.

Heck was pronounced dead at the scene at 12:25 a.m. by Osage County Coroner Lois Jaeger. The body was taken to Birmingham-Martin Funeral Home.

The Chrysler was totaled and towed.

Osage County deputies assisted the Patrol at the scene.
