Smith-Cotton High School theatre students will host the 4th annual Theatre for a Cause performance on February 15. with the proceeds to benefit the Community Café.

Sedalia 200 says the evening is directed by senior Krysta Ott. The cast will perform comedic scenes pulled from three different plays: “Almost Maine,” “Sure Thing” and “Check, Please.”

The cast includes students Dalton Shepard, Lauren Gray, Ethan Beard, Chandler Gray, Sharra Gilger, Meredith Tester, Derrick Gilger and Ott, along with S-C teacher Michael Kailus.

Ott said, "Each scene is unique in its own way but all of them revolve around the stages of love. It will be a perfect night for people of all ages looking to have a good laugh.”

All proceeds from the show will be donated to the Community Café in Sedalia. Tickets are $5.00 each (for all ages) and can be purchased in the front office at Smith-Cotton High School or at the door.

Theatre for a Cause will be performed Thursday, February 15, beginning at 7:00 p.m. in the Heckart Performing Arts Center.
