A team film session held immediately before the game yielded tremendous results for the Gremlins on Tuesday night.

The Gremlins made an effort to improve offensive movement and avoid straight attacking runs in their game against the Stover Bulldogs. With an improved creativity, the Gremlins scored six first half goals.

Senior Rio Suzuki had the biggest night of his high school career, scoring a goal and recording assists on the first two goals of the night. Sophomore Ian Viscarra just missed out on a hat trick scoring two first half goals.

Junior Jaysen Gerke has shown an impressive ability to finish in practice and finally got his opportunity in a game. Gerke has played right defensive back the entire season and with a 5-0 lead, he was unleashed on the offensive end. Gerke scored the final two goals of the game, including the goal of the night.

Twelve minutes into the second half, Jaysen received a ball at 30 yards out. He took a quick glance at the keeper and immediately fired a right footed shot over the keepers head into the back of the net. Goalkeepers Dallen Chappell and Tony Farr preserved the shutout for the Gremlins.

Tony Farr made several impressive plays on well struck Stover Corner Kicks in the second half.

The Gremlins (7-4-1) will travel to Lone Jack on Thursday night for a rematch from the first game of the season in the Barstow Tournament.
