The weather forecast has certainly changed a lot in 24-48 hours. On Friday (April 17), there was a chance for severe weather to come through our area, but now it appears the projection of the storm changed and so did the intensity. We had several good downpours on Saturday, but didn't become real severe.

The National Weather Service claims that Sunday we are expecting on Scattered Thunderstorms, with no severe weather.

"It looks as if the severe weather risk is moving to our south east," said Sedalia/Pettis County EMA Director David Clippert. "We have gone from a 15% risk to a 5%. Still looking to be a little wet for us this weekend, we will probably see some rain with non-severe thunderstorms."

We'll continue to keep track of the rain and storms with Weathereye updates, twice an hour.
