On March 3 at 10:49 p.m., Sedalia Police Detectives from the Crime Resolutions Unit and officers from the Uniform Patrol were assisted by Deputies from the Pettis County Sheriff’s Department in serving a search warrant at 728 E. 5th Street, Apartment A.

Upon arrival at the residence, entry was made and an adult male was taken into custody without incident.

A search of the residence was conducted and officers located individually packaged baggies of methamphetamine and additional packaging materials.

At the conclusion of the investigation, one suspect was arrested and taken to the Pettis County Jail.

41-year-old David J. Dotson was charged with Delivery of a Controlled Substance.
