The following Sedalia Police and Pettis County Sheriff's crime reports are from the morning of Tuesday, Sept. 3, 2013.

Sedalia Police Investigate a Reported Assault

A man reported to Sedalia Police that he was assaulted yesterday morning (Sept. 2) by a known suspect in the 1900 Block of West Main.

Several Break-Ins and Thefts Occur Over the Weekend

A woman in the 700 Block of West 7th reported to Sedalia Police that someone broke the rear side windows of her vehicle, and it appeared that someone shot through both windows. This is the second time that has happened in the last year or two.

Pettis County Deputies took a theft report from the area of Lutman and Highway KK in Smithton. A cow feeder trough and cattle panel were stolen between Aug. 29 and 31.

A woman in the 1200 Block of Elm Hills Boulevard reported to Pettis County Deputies that someone she knows stole her cell phone and keys from her home on Sept. 1.

Pettis County Deputies went to the Longwood area off of Highway BB in reference to a burglary on Sept. 1. The victim reported to Pettis County Deputies that they saw two subjects walking out of their home, but did not find any items stolen and there was not a sign of forced entry.

A woman in the 1400 Block of South Mildred reported to Sedalia Police that she found flour on the street and on her 2006 Chevy Truck. The damage to the truck happened between 9 p.m. on Aug. 31 and 7 a.m. on Sept. 1.

A woman in the 500 Block of West 7th reported to Sedalia Police that someone stole her bike valued at $100 while it was sitting on the front patio of her apartment building.

A woman in the 300 Block of West 10th reported to Sedalia Police that someone stole her prescription medication between Aug. 17 and 26.

A woman reported to Sedalia Police that her navy blue National Guard slip pouch was either lost or stolen in the 300 Block of West Broadway on Aug. 31.

A employee of Temp Stop at 4575 South Limit reported to Pettis County Deputies that was a gas drive off on Sept. 1.

Pettis County Deputies Investigate an Accident

Pettis County Deputies took a report of a minor one-vehicle accident that happened on Houston Road near the Houstonia Cemetery on Aug. 31. There were no injuries and only minor damage to the fence.

Several Arrests Made

Sedalia Police arrested David Williams for failure to appear, bond set at $50,000 cash/surety.

Sedalia Police arrested Cara Bauer for having a Pettis County warrant, bond set at $2,500 cash/surety and a Johnson County warrant, bond set at $500 cash.

Yesterday afternoon (Sept. 2), Sedalia Police stopped a vehicle near East 5th and South Engineer for having an expired registration. Sedalia Police found Christopher Riley to have marijuana in the vehicle and was arrested, bond set at $533.50.

Sedalia Police arrested John Smith for failure to appear, bond set at $200 cash.

Sedalia Police arrested James Ingram for failure to appear, bond set at $100 cash.

Sedalia Police arrested Benjamin Hollingsworth for domestic assault in the 3rd.

Sedalia Police arrested Cynthia Gomez for driving while suspended.

Sedalia Police arrested Eduvijes Perez and Dustin Hogan for driving while revoked.
