Pettis County deputies arrested a subject after responding to an accident at Highway 52 and Oxline Road Wednesday at 1:23 a.m. The subject reportedly had a warrant out of El Dorado Springs. They were then taken to the Pettis County Jail on a $100 bond.


On Thursday, a woman reported the theft of a firearm from the 800 block of Southwood Drive.


Pettis County deputies arrested Zachary DeWitt on an outstanding Sedalia PD warrant on Thursday at 13th and Kentucky.


Pettis County deputies arrested Fred Hunly on a 12-hour protective custody hold in the 400 block of South Walnut on Friday, Feb. 8.


Sedalia Police took a hit-and-run report on Wednesday from a man, after a vehicle slid off the roadway and struck his parked vehicle. The suspect was later identified and located, but the victim did not want to pursue charges.


Sedalia Police conducted a subject check on Wednesday on a man staring at an abandoned house at 10th and Ohio on Wednesday. A computer check of the man, identified as Michael A. Botello, determined he was wanted on a parole violation out of Jeff City. Botello was taken into custody and transported to the Pettis County Jail with no bond.


Late Friday night, Pettis County deputies arrested Jennifer M. Langdon for interfering with a custodial arrest and driving while suspended. Langdon was placed on a 24-hour hold pending the filing of formal charges.
