Early Thursday morning (July 13), Sedalia Police conducted a warrant check at State Fair Hotel, located in the 3400 block of West Broadway Blvd. According to the report, police arrested the suspect, 32-year old Beckey Elaine Thomas, for a No-Bond probation and parole warrant and a Larceny warrant, with a $1,500 bond. Thomas was also arrested for Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and methamphetamine. She was taken to the Pettis County Jail.


On Thursday (July 13), Pettis County Sheriff’s deputies arrested Kimberly Farmer for 1st Degree Trespassing. She was placed on a 24-hour hold in the Pettis County Jail.


On Wednesday (July 13), Sedalia Police took a theft report at Sutherlands, located at 3808 South Limit Ave. According to the report, the suspect entered the store and placed several items into a shopping cart, then attempted to cut the lock on an outside gate, in order to push the items out. The suspect was unable to cut the lock. The report says the items were left behind and the suspect fled the scene. The value of the attempted stolen items is $523.58. There were no further details listed in that report.


On Thursday (July 13), Pettis County deputies took a report of a stolen John Deere Tractor, in on Taney Road. The investigation into the theft is ongoing.
