Three people were arrested July 18 after they were found sleeping in the drive-thru at a McDonald's in Sedalia. According to a report, Sedalia Police were called to the McDonald's at 1611 S. Limit by management on a vehicle in the restaurant's drive-through with three subjects inside who were sleeping and appeared to be intoxicated. The driver, 20-year-old Abraham Quetzecua Marcos of Sedalia, was taken into custody and charged with Driving While Intoxicated and Possession of Liquor by a Minor. He was also wanted on two FTA warrants. His passengers, 17-year-old Juanito Rubio of Sedalia, was arrested for minor in possession, while 17-year-old Jose Quetzecua Marcos of Sedalia was arrested for possession of liquor by a minor and also identity theft. All three were taken to the Pettis County Jail.


Sedalia Police arrested 50-year-old Cara M. Fauquier of Sedalia after officers responded to a domestic disturbance in the 300 block of S. Vermont at 11:20 p.m. July 16. According to a report, one person was arrested at the scene. Fauquier was charged with private peace disturbance, littering, open container of alcohol, loud noise and 2nd degree property damage. She was taken to Bothwell Regional Health Center to make sure she was fit for confinement, then on to the Pettis County Jail where she was placed on a 12-hour protective custody hold.


25-year-old Angel B. Blockson of Columbia was arrested at 6th and Vermont at 230 a.m. Monday after a traffic stop was conducted by Sedalia Police for expired plates. Blockson was taken to the Pettis County Jail on a $50 cash bond. She now has a Sept. 5 court date.


19-year-old Anna K. Scherer of Sedalia was arrested for assault after she fled the scene of a disturbance in the 1500 block of W. Broadway on Monday morning. Officers later located and arrested her. She was taken to the Pettis County Jail. The victim had no visible injuries and refused medical treatment, according to the report.


19-year-old Margarito M. Quetzecua of Sedalia was arrested at Hubbard Park Monday morning while the SPD was investigating a report there in the 600 block of N. Missouri. A computer check revealed Quetzecua was wanted on a Municipal warrant. He was taken to the Pettis County Jail, pending the posting of a $100 bond.


26-year-old Brian Adam Driskell was arested for Driving While Suspended after Sedalia Police conducted a traffic stop for no front plate at Washington and Jefferson around 8:20 Saturday night. Driskell was taken to the Pettis County Jail with a Sept. 15 court date.


On Monday, a woman reported the theft of a semi-automatic pistol, valued at $363, from her vehicle in the 2500 block of Stacey Lane. The theft occurred sometime between July 1 and 23. There is no suspect information.
