Just before 10:00 Saturday night (Nov 5), Sedalia Police officers conducted a traffic stop in the area of South Emmett Avenue and East 4th Street for a car with no licence plates. The occupants in the car were contacted and their information was run through dispatch. The driver was revoked and had a FTA warrant from Pettis County. 26-year old Ronald A. Watson Jr was arrested and taken to the Pettis County Jail, with a $500 cash bond on the warrant. He was booked and released for driving while revoked

 

Around 11:45 Friday morning (Nov 4), Sedalia Police officers observed a subject who had an active warrant, in the 800 block of East 7th Street. Officers made contact with the female subject and dispatch confirmed that had an active FTA warrant from Pettis County. Janice M. Bryan was arrested and taken to the Pettis County Jail, with a $250 cash bond.


 

On Saturday (Nov 5), Pettis County Sheriff's deputies were in a short vehicle pursuit with a Chrysler van. The driver of the van was identified as Brandon Markell and the passenger was identified as Lyndi Fox. The pursuit went west of Highway 50, in Sedalia, to Missouri Avenue, then down the alley, and ended behind a business in the 300 block of West Broadway. Brandon Markell exited the van and took off running, according to the that report. He ran north on Kentucky Avenue. Deputies are requesting charges on Brandon Markell for:

Felony Driving while Revoked or Suspended

Felony Resisting Arrest

Careless and Imprudent Driving

Possession of Drug Paraphernalia

Possession of Marijuana (less than 35 grams)

 

On Saturday (Nov 5), deputies arrested Kevin Micheal Lawson on Rattlesnake Hill Road near Bluhm Road, for driving while revoked and excessive speeding.
