Sexual assault on April the 6th under investigation

A press release from the Sedalia Police Department’s Criminal Division dated this (Thursday) morning April 18, states a 20-year-old female victim reported she had been sexually assaulted on April 6 of this year. The assault reportedly took place in the area of Thompson Blvd. and Daryl Drive by a suspect known to her. An investigation is currently underway.

Thieves target woman’s gas can and fuel in the 600 block of East Booneville

At 5:00 Wednesday evening, Pettis County Deputies took a theft complaint from a female victim in the 600 block of East Booneville. According to the victim, thieves stole a gas can valued at $10 that contained $10 worth of fuel. There were no suspects at news time.

Pettis County accident reported on McVey Road Wednesday afternoon

At 4:15 Wednesday afternoon, the Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a one-vehicle accident on McVey Road west of Rissler Road in Pettis County. According to the report, the accident occurred as the 2005 Pontiac driven by 20-year-old Heidi Waggoner of Sedalia traveled off the roadway and struck a tree. Waggoner received minor injuries in the crash and was transported to Bothwell Regional Health Center for treatment.

Three vehicle accident reported in Johnson County Monday afternoon

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a three-vehicle accident on Monday afternoon on Route “DD” two-tenths of a mile East of County Road Southeast 501. The accident reportedly happened as the 2009 Chevrolet driven by 16-year-old Malinda Rinne of Concordia overtook and struck the rear of a 2007 Mazda driven by 30-year-old Jennifer Case of Warrensburg. The Case vehicle then overtook a 1999 Dodge driven by 30-year-old Jonathon Rampone of Knob Noster, striking it in the rear. Case was the only injury noted in the accident report and she was transported to Western Missouri Medical Center by Johnson County EMS for treatment of what were described as minor injuries.
