
Sedalia Man Apprehended, Arrested for Assault After Perimeter Search
Sedalia Police responded to 1516 South Missouri for an assault report at 11: 05 p.m. Thursday night.
Upon arrival, officers noticed the victim had injuries to her face from a known suspect, who fled the scene.
The suspect was later located, but fled from officers.
Pettis County Deputy Moore and K9 Cav were deployed to search a perimeter set up near 10th and Prospect by the Pettis County Sheriff's Department and the Missouri State Highway Patrol.
After a several hundred-foot-long track, 29-year-old Arthur Gordon Phillips, Jr., was located hiding in a garage.
He was then arrested without further incident.
He was charged with resisting arrest and felony second-degree assault.
