Sedalia Police arrested one man after a brief foot pursuit on Friday.

According to a report, police made a traffic stop on a vehicle at 3rd and Grand at 12:08 a.m. Sept. 20.
The driver stopped, but then fled on foot. He was later located hiding under a nearby trailer. 26-year-old Kristopher Gavin Lee Paxton of Sedalia was taken into custody. He was also found to be in possession of knuckles.
Paxton was taken to the Pettis County Jail, where he was charged with driving while revoked, resisting arrest and possession of an illegal weapon.
