Sedalia Man Arrested After Shots Fired in 200 block of West Seventh

Sedalia Police responded to a report of gun shots in the 200 block of West 7th around 10 a.m. Thursday.

Contact was made with a witness, who said a male fired shots from a moving vehicle at another male in a parking lot.

The shooter was identified, located and arrested. 19-year-old Brandon Michael Lynch of Sedalia was charged with unlawful use of a weapon, armed criminal action and 1st degree assault.

He was taken to the Pettis County Jail on a 24-hour hold, pending the formal filing of charges.
