Sedalia Man Arrested on Charges of Sodomy, Incest & Sexual Misconduct

On June 7, the Sedalia Police Department's Criminal Investigations Bureau began an investigation into possible child sex crimes that have been occurring in the 1200 block of West 4th Street.

And as part of the investigation, a search warrant was served June 19 and a suspect was arrested.

58-year-old Don S. Mather, Jr., of the address, was arrested and transported to the Pettis County Jail, where he was placed on a 24-hour hold.

Charges of 1st Degree Child Molestation (three counts), three counts of statutory sodomy, three counts of incest and three counts of sexual misconduct involving a child were requested.
