Sedalia Police arrested Joshua S. Miller, 26, of Sedalia, on 80 counts of harassment, 11 counts of identity theft and one count of stalking on Wednesday.

According to the report, the victim reported receiving threatening and harassing messages on Facebook starting in February from 20 allegedly fraudulent accounts.

During the police investigation, Miller came forward and claimed he also was receiving harassing messages. A search warrant was obtained by Sedalia Police for 15 of the Facebook accounts.

The SPD then obtained a subpoena for 11 of the IP Addresses through AT&T, and discovered all the IP addresses belonged to Miller. He was arrested and taken to the Pettis County Jail on a 24-hour hold, pending the filing of state charges.
