Sedalia Man Arrested on Multiple Warrants

A 60-year old Sedalia man was arrested Friday (June 1) on multiple warrants for passing bad checks and failing to register as a sex offender.

The arrest came after Sedalia Police conducted a traffic stop Friday night near S. Grand Ave and Wilkerson Street.

An investigation reportedly revealed an occupant in the vehicle had Butler County warrants for passing bad checks and failing to register as a sex offender. The suspect, 60-year old Kendis L. Scroggins, also had four warrants from Stoddard County for passing bad checks and a City of Sedalia warrant for back fines.

Scroggins was taken to the Pettis County Jail, with a total bond of $15,100.00.
