Sedalia Man Faces Multiple Charges After Car Stop
On Monday evening around 8 p.m., Sedalia Police conducted a traffic stop on a blue Ford Expedition for failing to signal a turn at 16th and Barrett.
During the stop, officers located a stolen firearm, marijuana, methamphetamine, and other items commonly used to distribute controlled substances.
The driver, 51-year-old Wraymond J. Merriott, Jr., of Sedalia, was taken into custody and transported to the Pettis County Jail on a 24-hour hold.
He faces 10 charges, including multiple drug offences, receiving stolen property, unlawful use of a weapon, delivery or manufacture of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia and resisting arrest.
