Sedalia Man Injured in South 65 Accident

A Sedalia man was injured in a two-vehicle accident that occurred Monday evening in Pettis County.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, a southbound 2003 Mitsubishi Montero Sport driven by a 16-year-old female from Cole Camp was attempting to turn left into McDonald's near 16th and Limit at 6 p.m., and pulled in front of a northbound 2008 Dodge Dakota driven by 65-year-old Jerry L. Allen of Sedalia.

Allen suffered moderate injuries and was transported to Western Missouri Medical Center by PCAD for treatment. He was wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash.

Both vehicles had extensive damage and were towed by Don's Truck Towing.

Sedalia Police assisted the Patrol at the scene.
