Sedalia Man Struck by Car at 16th & Grand

Sedalia Police investigated a car vs pedestrian accident that occurred at 16th & Grand on Monday morning.

According to a report, a blue 2003 Toyota CST driven by 29-year-old Lindsey Walton Fish of Sedalia struck 47-year-old Ruben Hernnadez of Sedalia at 6:34 a.m. as he was crossing 16th southbound. The impact sent Hernandez onto the hood and into the windshield.

Fish said she never saw Hernandez until he was struck. Three witnesses said Hernandez ran out into the roadway in front of the driver. Hernandez complained of knee pain and also had visible injuries to his leg, arm and face. He was taken by PCAD to BRHC for treatment.
