Sedalia Police and Pettis County Sheriff’s Crime Reports: Morning of April 24, 2014

The following Sedalia Police and Pettis County Sheriff's crime reports are from the morning of Thursday, April 24, 2014.

Several Thefts Reported

A man in the 1300 Block of East Boonville reported to Pettis County Deputies that someone stole a gas powered generator valued at $300 on April 22 or 23.

A woman reported to Sedalia Police that she was assaulted and the suspect stole her laptop and tablet on April 20 in the 3500 Block of West Broadway.

A woman in the 2200 Block of South Vermont reported to Sedalia Police that someone stole her checkbook from her car between 7 p.m. on April 22 and 11 yesterday morning (April 23).

A woman in the 1300 Block of East 6th reported to Sedalia Police that someone stole her prescription pills.

An old gold Mongoose bicycle was dumped in the corner of South Osage and East 10th yesterday (April 23). Sedalia Police took possession of the bike and put it in the bike shed.

Sedalia Police Make Three Arrests

Sedalia Police arrested Mitchell McKee for a Pettis County warrant, bond set at $2,500.

Sedalia Police arrested Bonnie Carey for failure to appear-misdemeanor, bond set at $500 cash/surety.

Sedalia Police arrested Melinda Hamby for failure to appear, bond set at $125 cash.
